Oh what a blast that was!

Right now we are exhausted and simply have no words to describe what an utterly fantastic Festival we have had.

We will let the music do the talking.

Have a listen to “The Mighty Uke”, composed by Marion Horgan and performed by Cobh’s Own U-kan-uke.

Fancy playing along? You can download the chords and lyrics here

Cobh Ukulele Festival

Ukelol have touched back down on Dutch ground already 1 week ago but we're all still on a high after our unbelievably amazing weekend at the #cobhukulelefestival.

We would like to extend a huge huge thank you to all the wonderful people of Cobh who made our weekend so special.

Especially to all the girls from the Cobh Ukulele Festival thanks for making us feel so welcome and part of your uke-family.

To Mark, owner of @The Sardinian (sorry unable to tag) but anyway big thanks for the wunderful stay in your house, we respected the house, not the neighbours 😂

To John, bar staff and the Grumpy old men at The Mauretania Bar and Rob and bar staff at The Rob Roy Bar, Cobh for the endless supply of beer, laughter and music.

Thank you Sean Lynch and your wife for taking us on the beatiful tour before dropping us off at the Brunchelele at Ballynoe Inn. Great BBQ and big fun playing with most of the groups together.

To the redheads of Cobh for posing with our very own Dutch redhead Jaime.

All the John's we've met from taxidriver to airline Pilot and all the John's all day everywhere in Cobh, a lot of John's in Cobh and we love John!!!

Thanks to Supermac's & Papa John's Cobh for the brilliant Cheeseburgers and Taco Fries.

And of course to all the other fellow ukulele crazies we met: The Belfast Ukejam, Shandon Ukulele Sessions, Snugs, RUGS, The Walkeleles, Ukidukes, CCB Uki and Ukulele Tuesday and the groups we forgot to mention

Peter Brown, your pics are the best!!

C & T Meubelen for being our first sponsor and also the people who supported us by buying our merchandise.

Last but not least all our family, friends and neighbours who took care of our cats, dogs, goldfish, houses and children while we were having the best time of our lives.

Tot de volgende keer!!! Cobh Ukulele Festival
